I believe that your maternity photo shoot should be more than another task on your to-do list but an opportunity to document and celebrate your pregnancy.
I offer several maternity sessions designed with your needs in mind. The Maternity Mini-Session is an excellent option if you want a quick and convenient session in the Redmond area, focusing primarily on mom and dad. If this sounds like you, then you’re in the right place.

Maternity Mini-Session at a Glance
The Maternity Mini-Session is shot during the golden hour (30–60 minutes before sunset) in some of my favorite scenic locations around the Redmond area, just a short drive from Bellevue. (I use several locations, which I pick a few days before your session based on the season and weather.)
The Maternity Mini-Session includes 20 minutes of shooting and 10 hand-edited high-res images. This option works well if you prefer a quicker session while still getting a good variety of shots.
Because this session is shorter than the Deluxe Session, I will be primarily focusing on shots of mom and dad, which is why I recommend this option for couples without toddlers.
Additional details:
- I provide a detailed prep guide and online styling service to help you look your best.
- My maternity sessions are relaxed, and my photography and editing style are natural and organic.
- During the session, you will never have to worry about how to pose or what to do. I will guide and direct you the entire time.
- You pick the photos from your session that you want hand-edited from a gallery of 40–60 photos.
- If you want additional hand-edited photos, you can order them à la carte after seeing your proof gallery.
- You also have the option to purchase all of the photos from your session with a standard color edit (more on that in the FAQs).

The weather for an outdoor session in the winter can be very unpredictable in the PNW. Sometimes, making a session happen takes some flexibility with changing the day and time and a little luck. However, capturing the moodiness of the PNW winter in your maternity photos is well worth it.

FAQs
When is the best time to have a maternity session?
The ideal time for your maternity shoot is when you are between 28 and 32 weeks pregnant, but I am happy to work around your schedule. I recommend booking a month in advance to give you time to prepare.
We are not good at taking pictures; will you guide us?
I will direct and guide you the entire time, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
What is the best way to dress for our session?
Upon completing your booking, you will receive an email with prep info and tips, including the outfit inspiration guide and online styling service, to help you look your best for the session.
Color edit vs. hand-edit: what’s the difference?
Color editing is an overall color adjustment to make the photos appear brighter, more colorful, and properly exposed.
Hand-editing is a detailed edit that includes basic skin smoothing, removal of blemishes, bruises, and fly-aways, and more detailed color adjustments. It gives your photos a more “polished” feel.
The Mini Session includes 10 hand-edited photos. Additional hand-edited photos could be purchased à la carte after you see your proof gallery. You also have the option to purchase all the photos from your session, which will include a color edit.
