Maternity Sessions

Maternity sessions are for expecting parents who want pregnancy documented before the baby arrives in a way that feels natural, calm, and guided. Sessions may take place outdoors at carefully chosen Seattle-area locations or in the studio, depending on the look and experience you want.

Newborn Sessions

Newborn sessions are for the early baby stage, with a calm, baby-led approach and clear guidance through the process. Sessions may take place in the Kirkland studio or in your home within the Seattle area, depending on the experience you want for your family.

Milestone and birthday sessions are simple, timeless studio portraits for babies and children. They keep the focus on your child, whether you are planning sitter photos, a first birthday session, a cake smash, or a classic milestone session.

Family Sessions

Family sessions are for updated portraits that feel natural, connected, and manageable with real kids. They work well for annual photos, sibling images, parent-child connection, and documenting the stage your family is in right now.

This is a good place to begin when your family needs updated photos, and you want the session to feel guided without feeling stiff. Family photos may take place outdoors at Seattle-area locations or in the studio when that setting makes more sense for your family.

What Stays Consistent Across Sessions

Different sessions call for different plans, but you can expect the same core approach: clear information before you book, practical preparation after you reserve, and direction throughout the session.

I’ll guide posing, movement, and small adjustments as we work, without expecting everyone to follow a perfect plan. If a baby needs a break, a toddler needs to move, or someone needs a little time, I’ll adjust the pace rather than force the session back into a script.

If you return for another stage later, the details may change, but the way I guide the session—and the warm, natural, cohesive look of the photographs—will feel familiar.
