Remember your children,
just as they are.

Professional family photography

  • Newborn Photoshoot

The ideal time for your newborn’s photoshoot to occur is during their first 5-7 days, so it’s generally best to schedule prior to giving birth.

To capture the essence of the connection between you and your new bundle of joy, the newborn photoshoot typically lasts 2–4 hours, and can occur on location or in my home-studio.

Cost: $600 Note: This investment includes up to 20 professionally edited images with print rights.

  • Maternity Photoshoot

Are you decorating your daughter’s room with roses? Or, maybe it’s full of nautical accents for your son? Whatever props or themes you’d like to incorporate into your maternity photoshoot, I’m here to capture the moment, exactly as you envision.

Whether you’re looking for a fresh, simple approach with the Natural maternity photoshoot, or themes and props galore during the Stylized shoot, we’re here to capture your glow and to create memories for a lifetime.

Keep in mind that the ideal time to have the maternity photoshoot is during the 7th month. Maternity photoshoots can take place at your home, or any other location of your choosing, and will last about 90 minutes.

Cost: $400 Note: This investment includes up to 20 professionally edited images with print rights. Travel fee may apply.

  • Family Photoshoot

This photoshoot is designed to provide you with amazing pictures of your child or the entire family that you will treasure for the rest of your life.

The Family Photoshoot includes up to 90 minutes of shooting and is done on-location or your home.

Cost: $400 Note: This investment includes up to 20 professionally edited images with print rights.

  • Stylized Photoshoot

The Stylized Photoshoot is the most customizable option I have to offer and is designed to showcase your personality and style.

I’ll begin by really getting to know you and your family, which will allow me to brainstorm the best way to tell your family’s special story. During a detailed consultation, we will decide on the ideal location and props for your photoshoot. (In some circumstances, additional charges may be assessed for custom props.)

Your Stylized Photoshoot will last up to three hours and will take place on-location or your home.

Cost: $800 Note: This investment includes up to 20 professionally edited images with print rights.

My process

Creating magic, one step at a time

While it’s all about you and your child from start to finish, creating professional, legacy-quality photographs involves several key steps. Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect throughout the process:

Creative Photography Process - Consultation Consultation

Consultation – The phone consultation phase is arguably the most important step, as it sets the tone for everything else. Here, I’ll work closely with you to determine the best theme for your child, and one that brings out their true nature. Consultation length and detail depend on your chosen package.

Creative Photography Process - Photoshoot Photoshoot

Photoshoot – After you arrive, I’ll get to know your child, so that I won’t be viewed as some “scary” stranger with an even stranger device that makes lots of clicking noises. This helps us to create a sense of mutual trust with one another, and frees your child up to be themselves, while allowing the camera to capture their true essence.

Initially, you may find that your child is reluctant to have their picture taken, which is perfectly normal. In instances like these, I’ll work closely with you to get them in the mood by letting go of our “adult faces,” and getting down to their level.

During the photoshoot, I’ll be actively involved in bringing out the best in your child. I’m not a photographer that remains in one place. Instead, I’ll ask them questions, use the sensation of touch to connect with them, and will even tickle them every now and then, as long as they’re comfortable with it. The use of props tends to also take some of the pressure off your child, and can really add a level of personalization that’s difficult to capture otherwise.

Now, all that’s left to do is have some fun!

Creative Photography Process - Post Production Post Production

Post Production – During this phase, I’ll carefully choose up to images from your photoshoot, and will have a ton of fun editing them. It’s here that we’ll take your already great photos, and make them worthy of your legacy.

Creative Photography Process - Printing Printing

Printing – After your pictures have been edited, you’ll have a couple options as to how you’d like them to be printed:

  1. Choose the images that you’d like to have printed, as well as the format, and I’ll handle the rest. Printing packages start at $200.
  2. Alternately, some clients choose to purchase direct-printing rights, which are available at two price points: $150 for full printing rights on all edited images, or for only $50, when accompanied with any printing order of $200 or more. It’s important to note that these options include printing rights only, and do not include copyrights.

In addition to the above options, each client will also receive web-resolution digital version of each of their edited images. Feel free to spread the joy with family and friends all around the globe via email or social media.

Once it’s all said and done, your satisfaction is my number one goal. I know you’ll love your pictures, and that you’ll be back for more!

FAQ

Have a great experience, while creating a lifetime of memories

  • 1

What’s the best way to prepare for my photoshoot?

Most importantly, help your child be in the best possible mood by making sure their bellies are full, and they’re well rested. Also, keep in mind that your child’s timeline is not always the same as yours, and that rushing them typically only leads to frustration. It’s completely understood that your child may become fussy during the photoshoot, so be prepared to bribe them by promising a candy or new toy after we’re complete. After all, they’ve earned it!

  • 2

How should my child dress for their photoshoot?

While there’s always plenty of room for creativity, a good rule of thumb is to make sure your child’s clothes are relatively in-line with the overall theme of the photoshoot. In addition, keep in mind that colors should blend well together, and that prints should be balanced by pairing them with solid colors. If you have any questions about the best clothing options for your specific photoshoot, let me know and I’ll be happy to consult with you.

  • 3

How long does it take to receive our pictures?

Digital versions are typically available within one to two weeks.

  • 4

How will I get my photos?

Once your images are edited, you will be able to download them from your private online gallery. If you prefer to receive your digital pictures on a USB drive, I will be happy to ship them to you for an additional fee of $50.

  • 5

Can I get the rest of the unedited photos from my session?

No, I do not give away unedited photos. But you can certainly purchase additional edited images for $50 each.

  • 6

Can I print the pictures myself?

Yes, printing rights are included with all of my packages.
