All About the Outdoor Maternity + Newborn Deluxe Package
This post will help you understand what this package includes, get a good idea of how the final photos will look, get a sampling of the locations for the maternity photos, and know how the booking process works.
The Outdoor Maternity and Newborn Package at a Glance
Photographing the Maternity + Newborn package is one of my most personally rewarding services. Witnessing the bump-to-baby transformation reminds me of the beauty and wonder of life and never ceases to amaze and inspire me.
This popular package includes everything from the Outdoor Maternity Deluxe and Newborn Deluxe Sessions but with a $200 discount. You also get peace of mind that your newborn session is booked, as scheduling one last minute may not always give you the best options.
Outdoor Maternity Session Highlights:
- Up to 1 hour of shooting time
- 20 hand-edited images
- Additional hand-edited photos available à la carte
- A full gallery (all the images from the session with a basic color edit) is available as an add-on
- Photos of mom in various poses and looks, belly shots, mom and dad, mom and siblings, family portrait, and pets
- Can include photos with few keepsakes, such as a nicely framed ultrasound picture and baby shoes
- Takes place in a number of my favorite outdoor locations around Seattle (I will provide you with location options based on the season after you book)
- For best light, this session is done during the golden hour (60 minutes before sunset)
- 7-day turnaround
- Online styling service and detailed prep guide
Newborn Session Highlights:
- Up to 3 hours of shooting time
- 20 hand-edited images
- Additional hand-edited photos available à la carte
- Use of all my props, headbands, wraps, and bonnets
- Photos of baby, parent shots, and sibling shots; the number of poses and looks will depend on how the baby responds to being posed
- Takes place at my Redmond studio
- 7-day turnaround
- Detailed prep guide
Total Package Price: $1,800 +tax
- A $100 deposit is required to book your session
- $750 +tax due at the time of your maternity session (additional hand-edited images: +$20/each; full gallery upgrade: +$200)
- $950 +tax due at the time of your newborn session (additional hand-edited images: +$20/each)

Booking Your Maternity + Newborn Package
To book your package, you’ll start by picking the date for your maternity session from my calendar. The ideal time for your maternity shoot is when you are between 28 and 32 weeks pregnant, but I am happy to work around your schedule. I recommend booking at least a month in advance to give you time to prepare.
When booking, you will also provide your due date, which I will use to pencil you in, ensuring you have a spot. Once your baby is born, we will pick an actual shoot date (typically five days to three weeks after birth).
