If you are looking for a beautiful summertime location for your family photos on the Eastside, you are in the right place.
I am a Redmond-based family photographer, and it’s safe to say that I’ve scouted every possible location on the Eastside over the years.
In this post, I will highlight one of my favorite picturesque Redmond locations that I have been using for many summers. This location has a parking lot and a bathroom and is only a short drive away for those living in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Woodinville, and the surrounding areas.

My Approach to Family Photography
Before we dive into the photos, I wanted to share a few details about my approach to family photography:
- I believe that family photo shoots should not be complicated but easy and enjoyable so that more families can document their journey through the years.
- My photography style is natural, relaxed, and family-centered.
- After you book, I’ll provide a detailed prep guide to help you get ready and look your best.
- During the session, I will guide and naturally pose your family so you never have to wonder what to do next.
- If your kiddo does not cooperate, take a deep breath and don’t worry about a thing – I’ve seen it all. Most of the time, I’ll still be able to get plenty of shots you’ll enjoy and love.
Sample Photos from a Family Deluxe Session
The Deluxe Session is a longer, more relaxed option that offers more variety of shots. It includes 60 minutes of shooting time and 20 hand-edited photos.

The Mini Session is a shorter session that is ideal for families who want a quicker session or families that book multiple sessions throughout the year. It includes 20 minutes of shooting time and 10 hand-edited photos.

This location is also great for summer maternity sessions with family. The Deluxe Session gives you plenty of time for a variety of shots.

I think it is so special when grandparents are included in family photos. These keepsakes are priceless. (And grandparents don’t need to appear in every photo. They can be in as few or as many as everyone is comfortable.)
Pricing & Scheduling
Family photo sessions should not be complicated. All you need is the right perspective – you are doing it to document your family’s journey. It does not need to be perfect. Just come prepared to have fun, and I’ll do the rest.

Family Deluxe Session Highlights:
- Shooting time: Up to 1 hour
- Time: This session is shot 60 to 90 minutes before sunset, depending on the condition on the day of your session.
- Types of shots: Naturally posed photos of family, individual of each child, siblings together, siblings with each parent, and pets
- Images: 20 hand-edited high-res photos that you pick from a gallery of 80–100 photos (additional hand-edited photos available à la carte)
- Prep help: I will provide a detailed prep guide to help you get ready
- Hassle-free scheduling: Flexible rescheduling if it rains
- Turnaround: 7 days
- Session price: $850 +tax
- Optional add-ons: additional hand-edited photos: +$20/photo; full gallery (all the images) with basic color edit: $200
Family Mini Session Highlights:
- Shooting time: Up to 20 minutes
- Time: This session is shot 60 to 90 minutes before sunset, depending on the condition on the day of your session.
- Types of shots: Naturally posed photos of family, individual of each child, siblings together, siblings with each parent, and pets
- Images: 10 hand-edited high-res photos that you pick from a gallery of 40–60 photos (additional hand-edited photos available à la carte)
- Prep help: I will provide a detailed prep guide to help you get ready
- Hassle-free scheduling: Flexible rescheduling if it rains
- Turnaround: 7 days
- Session price: $450 +tax
